Christmas Morning

Much to our surprise the kids slept until 7:30 AM, we actually had to go and wake them up.  Jordan said he woke up at 4:30 AM but went back to sleep.  We had a great Christmas morning and enjoyed having Mom and Grandma with us this year for our first Christmas in Cheyenne.  It didn't snow but it is pretty cold.  It is supposed to snow next week for New Years!  Now the kids will play with all their toys all day, Marsha/Mom/Grandma will be cooking probably and I am gonna try and sneak off for a nap!

Veteran's Day

Just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Veteran's Day.

"To us in America, the reflections of Armistice Day will be filled with lots of pride in the heroism of those who died in the country's service and with gratitude for the victory, both because of the thing from which it has freed us and because of the opportunity it has given America to show her sympathy with peace and justice in the councils of the nations." - Woodrow Wilson (November 11, 1919)

Halloween 2010

Our first Halloween in Cheyenne was surprisingly nice.  We had heard in the past that it can be really, really, really cold and sometimes would snow.  But not this year, it was nice and clear and probably in the low 50's.

Kaylee was Cinderella.  We bought this
costume at Disneyland Paris last March and
she was excited to finally get to wear it.

Calvin (Vampire), Kaylee (Cinderella) and
Jordan (Pirate).

Calvin as a Vampire.  He didn't want his face
painted white or any fake blood though?

Jordan carved a scary Pac-Man into his pumpkin.

Kaylee's pumpkin was a cat and Calvin's was a spider.

Disneyland During The Holiday Season

I think Disneyland is GREAT anytime of the year but there is something even more special during the holidays!  Here are some of of the reasons why.

“It’s a small world” holiday
Thousands of lights twinkle and sparkle outside, while inside the children of the world share the spirit of the season in song.

Sleeping Beauty’s Winter Castle
Watch as Sleeping Beauty Castle transforms into a snow and icicle-covered palace! Then look to the skies for “Believe...in Holiday Magic” fireworks spectacular—complete with magical “snowfall”.

“A Christmas Fantasy” Parade
Prancing reindeer, marching toy soldiers, dancing gingerbread men and Disney Characters fill
Disneyland
Park with holiday joy!

Only 17 more days until we are there!!!!!
