The Culley Family: Favorite Baseball Team Logos

I was looking through some old baseball cards the other day and realized how much some team logos have changed throughout the years. Some of my favorite ones growing up are no longer used by their teams anymore. Here are my favorite logos from each Major League Baseball team, some are current logos but most are logos from the past.

AMERICAN LEAGUE

BALTIMORE ORIOLES

Logo used from 1966-1988.

BOSTON RED SOX

Logo used from 1976-2008.

CHICAGO WHITE SOX

Logo used from 1976-1990.

CLEVELAND INDIANS

Logo used from 1951-1972; 1980-Present.

DETROIT TIGERS

Logo used from 1994-2005.

KANSAS CITY ROYALS

Logo used from 1969-2001.

Their current logo looks very similar with a large "KC" replacing the large "R" and small "KC".

LOS ANGELES ANGELS OF ANAHEIM (CALIFORNIA ANGELS)

Logo used from 1986-1992.

This one is close as I actually like their new logo too, but I hate the name Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. I prefer the name California Angels.

MINNESOTA TWINS

Logo used from 1987-2009.

NEW YORK YANKEES

Logo used from 1936-Present.

OAKLAND ATHLETICS

Logo used from 1983-1992.

SEATTLE MARINERS

Logo used from 1980-1986.

TAMPA BAY RAYS

Logo used from 2008-Present.

A definite improvement over the original logo in my opinion.

TEXAS RANGERS

Logo used from 2003-Present.

TORONTO BLUE JAYS

Logo used from 1977-1996.

NATIONAL LEAGUE

ARIZONA DIAMONDBACKS

Logo used from 2008-Present.

ATLANTA BRAVES

Logo used from 1990-Present.

CHICAGO CUBS

Logo used from 1979-Present

CINCINNATI REDS

Logo used from 1972-1992.

COLORADO ROCKIES

Logo used from 1993-Present.

This is the only logo the Colorado Rockies have used.

FLORIDA MARLINS

Logo used from 1993-Present.

This is the only logo the Florida Marlins have used.

HOUSTON ASTROS

Logo used from 1975-1993.

LOS ANGELES DODGERS

Logo used from 1958-Present.

MILWAUKEE BREWERS

Logo used from 1978-1993.

NEW YORK METS

Logo used from 1999-Present.

There wasn't much change from the logo they used from 1962-1998, as it appears the bridge stands out a little more in the current version.
